Monel® Alloys
A nickel-copper range, Monel® alloys exhibit outstanding corrosion resistance in a wide range of media including seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulphuric acid and alkaline.
What is Monel® Metal?
Monel® is a family of nickel alloys that contains varying amounts of copper, iron, manganese, and other elements. The most common Monel® alloys are Monel® 400 and Monel® K500. Monel® 400 is a pure nickel alloy that exhibits excellent resistance to corrosive environments and offers ductility, weldability, and pliability required in extreme conditions. Monel® K500 is a nickel-copper alloy with added titanium and aluminium, making it even more resistant to corrosion and offering higher strength and durability.
