Alloy 718 is a high-performance super alloy, which combines superior strength with high levels of corrosion resistance and ductility across a wide range of temperatures. It is available now in sheet, plate and bar. Initially developed for the aerospace industry because of its excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
The alloy is also recognised by the Oil & Gas industry.
The alloys composition ensures it can withstand temperatures at both ends of the spectrum. Depending on the heat treatment process selected, the alloy can withstand temperatures from -252°C up to 704°C.
Alloy 718 Properties
At NeoNickel, we offer three main product forms of Alloy 718 in a range of sizes. To ensure that we comply with customer specifications and industry standards, our products are all quality checked.
Alloy 718 Round Bar
4mm-254mm
Alloy 718 Sheet & Plate
0.25mm-76.2mm
Alloy 718 Welding Wire
0.5mm-2.36mm
We supply a comprehensive range of alloy 718 sheet and plate products to suit all types of applications.
We have also invested in the latest state-of-the-art laser, water-jet and saw cutting technology, which allows us to provide bespoke cut profiles to meet your specifications.
Other Product FormsDue to its inherent strength and ability to withstand extremely hot and cold temperatures. Alloy 718 is used in a wide range of applications in the automotive, aerospace, defence, oil & gas and nuclear industries. The alloy is commonly in hot extrusion components or applications, which require high tensile strength at, relatively low cost.
